Hi All,
Have an existing system that functions well with 3.5KW solar array, 5KW growatt inverter (SPF5000ES) and 5KW Lifepo4 Batteries.
Would like to add more Solar Panels (another 3KW) but the current array is on a roof that has no space left (North facing), so will need to install a new array on another roof that is East Facing. System is in Southern hemisphere.
As the SPF5000ES has only one PV input I will need to add a solar charger for the new array directly to the batteries.
Is there any problems doing this?
I don't need anymore Inverter capacity as 5KW is enough and don't want the expense of a 2nd full inverter if just a seperate solar charge controller will work.
Thanks for any feedback>>>
