Building first battery

Ya I don’t won’t to give up, but I was really trying to stay inside the $200 range and with what I’m hearing it’s gunna be more like $350
Naahh, $80 for a pair of BMS's, a about $100 for the inverter, and use a cheaper PWM controller and use butt connectors to combine the wires to save money on all the XT 60 adapters.

Yeah, when you're building a system the parts add up fast, that inverter is half your budget there. However the cost of flying and replacing the battery is significantly higher.

$350 with a decent inverter and a decent SCC is about right. Trying to do it for $200 is difficult.

It's still a helluva fun starter project and I would do it in your shoes. Or you can send them to me. ;)
