I've got two EG4 6500ex's output set to 120V.

My transformer gives around 113V as their input, but when they charge the batteries (minimal load in bypass mode, new system, charged batteries from 55% to full) the voltage is 110V with occasional drops to 109V.

The warning is shown when the input stays at 109V for 2-3 seconds.

There is no explanation of this warning in the manual.IMG_4991.jpeg

What kind of load is running on that inverter / leg?

Are they both doing it or just one?

Check the temperature, airflow, and fan operation on that inverter in question.

Derating could be commonly caused when temp reaches a threshold in the code, where it derates to help keep it from getting hotter than it already is.

If the internal fans are all working and blowing well, make sure adequate specified clearance in maintained around inverter, top, bottom, left, right, and try blowing a high speed box fan into the area to help dissipate heat buildup around the wall area, and see if behavior changes.

High temp? Usually these things derate the output after 40-45c degrees.
Check your temps. If this is the case - install a small minisplit in the room.

There is no load on the inverters, maybe single light, they run in the bypass mode so they are not outputting their set voltage 120V.

The mains voltage drops briefly to 109V only when they were charging the batteries, and only there the warning was shown.

There is some power fluctuations from the mains so it's 113V-118V without load.
