One from grid and one for subpanel. The one neutral that is visible in you video, where is it coming from? Grid or subpanel
Edit same question for the single ground wire.
2nd edit. The 18Kpv says line balancing, I honestly have no idea what that means.
It takes 5 min for it to transfer back from grid to EPS for grid regulation and code. But the clicking is what I want to find outdupicate
So if it’s been happening for the last 4-5 days, what changed around the time that it started? Any firmware updates, wiring changes or new loads added?
You still had 2-3K worth of surge. Should be able to hit and hold a 5 minute 15K surge with solar.
Isn’t that only when you have grid available? You still had 2-3K worth of surge. Should be able to hit and hold a 5 minute 15K surge with solar.
I changed 1 setting on your inverter can you see if it still does this now?
No lol. Grid has 200 amp passthroughIsn’t that only when you have grid available?
No,Isn’t that only when you have grid available?
The more solar you have the better it works when going over 12k. Of course batteries matter to but the solar really gives it the extra push.
Right but passthrough is different than inverting. No lol. Grid has 200 amp passthrough
SS video has no PV. and like i said you need enough PV for this to happen. We tested in R&D and I can confirm it worksRight but passthrough is different than inverting.
Neither Gavin’s nor the SS load tests were able to maintain a 15k output surge for 5 min. Last I heard was that you had to have the grid connected to supplement the surge requirement.
Nothing had changed. Everything was exactly the same. The only thing that changed is that i got rid of the shadows, cutting down branches and production has gone up the days that has been sunny. So if it’s been happening for the last 4-5 days, what changed around the time that it started? Any firmware updates, wiring changes or new loads added?
It hasnt had any problems Since I changed it to off grid last night (but i dont want to be off grid) i want to still work on grid assistanceI changed 1 setting on your inverter can you see if it still does this now?
Turn it back on bossIt hasnt had any problems Since I changed it to off grid last night (but i dont want to be off grid) i want to still work on grid assistance
Ok bossI left the house around 6pm, everything ok. I wont be back until tomorrow. I checked it online it seems to continue running fine on off grid mode.

For MONTHS!I see in other videos it worked fine for some time.
LoLI hope you're getting a paycheck from Sig Solar with all the help you give everybody.
I just saw the graphic @Markus_EG4 pulled from my inverter. That is pretty crazy, with that difference between both legs i dont know how the inverter was even working. And since it WAS working ok, then why did it start doing it from 12:13pm and up?I figured it was the early firmware issue, but looks like he's on 1312.
Could the quality of the grid be just outside of range?
I also sent you a PM. I want to get to the bottom of this I have arranged some testing for tomorrow in R&D as well to see if we can replicate your problem.I just saw the graphic @Markus_EG4 pulled from my inverter. I need to supervise voltage on both legs. That shouldnt happen
@Markus_EG4 Just going to leave this here.I hope you're getting a paycheck from Sig Solar with all the help you give everybody.
I really want to get to the bottom of it too. ThanksI also sent you a PM. I want to get to the bottom of this I have arranged some testing for tomorrow in R&D as well to see if we can replicate your problem.
I think we’re all curious as to what’s going on. I don’t even have one of those inverters and you’ve got me hooked as well!I really want to get to the bottom of it too. Thanks
I am curious too, but i wont lie: also a little worriedI think we’re all curious as to what’s going on. I don’t even have one of those inverters and you’ve got me hooked as well!
Always love a good puzzle!
