Get a big battery

Really? Where? DIY? or off-the-shelf?
Just an example: Canadian Solar EP cube battery. Old info.
"No official pricing has been listed for the EP Cube battery, but the starting price will likely fall somewhere between $12,000 and $15,000."

I looked on the website, it shows 12 battery cells. I couldn't find the chemistry it uses.

This is looking interesting, but it is still $600/kwh:

My DIY bank came to $204 Kwh. And I could cut some off that with a different BMS and a few other things.

Grade A Eve cells and a seplos mason or similar kit

Current start is 14-15kw of panels and ~30kwh of battery, so 1:2 ratio, but want to expand to 90kwh of battery with 30kwh held in reserve (~1 day of usage in winter).

Have an electric dryer as well, if it becomes a problem I'm going to replace it with a heat pump unit (GE makes a large one if you don't want miele). I'd suggest that to all the other load testers here too. As a bonus it doesn't vent your nice conditioned air out doors.
Already have one, works great! aboout 1.3 to 1.5kwh to do a load, wash and dry.
