I’m confused-SOK and Quattro precharge circuit

I’m confused. I thought the SOK batteries had a precharge mechanism built in for inverters up to 10,000 watts.

See quote from SOK manual below.

But @HighTechLab put out a video on precharging the Quattro capacitors and they don’t mention this precharge circuit.

What am I missing?

Maybe he was just showing how to manually precharge if the inverters capacitors are too large for the battery's precharge circuit.

You're looking at the cheaper SOK 48v rack battery. That one does not have pre-charge. The more expensive one does. The manual is referring to the latter.

Good catch! I forgot the NCBT does not have precharge.
