These reading were taken today in a very sunny and hot day , maybe you would have a better idea on whats wrong. Thanks .
Could that mean that one or more of my solar panels are not working?Your pics show 38V in from solar. Solar needs to be at least battery voltage + 5V to charge.
How can I fixed that matter? ThanksOr battery in protect mode (BMS disconnect).
This equipment was installed by my father who passt aways. This equipment I don't think is under warranty.ASSUMING SOMETHING IS DAMAGE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
If you don’t have a fuse or breaker on the PV strings, and as it gets colder voltage could climb above 150v. The unit would be damaged.
You could call the Outback tech dept. 1-360-618-4363 ask for their imput. And see if the Outback needs to be sent in for warranty work.
What panels do you have and how are they connected?Could that mean that one or more of my solar panels are not working?
Can you see the state of the battery anywhere? Is that little lcd on your battery showing anything? How can I fixed that matter? Thanks
No. In the picture I posted I can't see anything , no reading what so ever. Can you see the state of the battery anywhere? Is that little lcd on your battery showing anything?
I have 12 320 panel and they are connected in a sires of 3 and one row in 6 .What panels do you have and how are they connected?
12 320 panel (each) and they are connected in rows a 3 and 1 in a row of 6. I suspected that perphaps 1 panel in the row of 6 is damage, but even them my equipment was working. What panels do you have and how are they connected?
So that you know , I had suspected that 1 solar panel (tied in a 6 row) was damaged but my equipment was working. This equipment was installed by my father who passt aways. This equipment I don't think is under warranty.
So 3S and 3S and 6S strings?they are connected in rows a 3 and 1 in a row of 6.
I foundout what is wrong, its the cooling fan in my unit. Where can I buy it? I have tried Outback and no answer.Your pics show 38V in from solar. Solar needs to be at least battery voltage + 5V to charge.
I found out what is wrong, its the cooling fan in my unit. Where can I buy it? I have tried Outback and no answer. How do you have your solar panels wired. Parallel, series? And if you have a breaker? Highly recommended.
Are you capable of opening the Outback? Most cooling fans are VERY standard and easily purchased and installed.I foundout what is wrong, its the cooling fan in my unit. Where can I buy it? I have tried Outback and no answer.
Thank you very much.6s string is to many volts. Has to be more than 200 volts. 150volts is the max for the Outback 80. Picture of fan is on eBay and Alte
The following picture says 124V in, 1.9V out.
I think "out" refers to battery voltage.
Can you use a DMM to measure voltage on battery terminals of the SCC, and on terminals of battery itself?
