Hi everyone, some time ago I bought solar panels with PERC technology of 180 watts each at a price of 169 euros.

A friend of mine, at a store, bought a single 550 watt panel at a price of 200 euros !! I wanted to understand why this difference, considering that the average price of solar panels cost about 1 euro per watt and we are talking about brands such as renogy, enjoy solar etc. In your opinion, why this price difference? I attach the nameplate of my 180 watt panels and a photo of the 550 watt.

Timing? Competition? Dropping prices? Sales?
I just ordered two 550 watt Renogy panels for about $450 each.... waiting on them to arrive...

Specials happen but I would check the size of the panel to see if the watt rating is possible.

£0.35 a watt in the UK , brand new from a wholesaler , including delivery

8x425w panels, £1200

. And that's without any discount
Unbelievable, I made the conversion to British pound and it corresponds to 0.40 euro cents. However, the fact remains that other panels of well-known brands sell them for about 1 euro per watt! Therefore this friend of mine will tell me over time if these panels are worth the purchase price.
