Questioning Strapping on Prismatic cells.

I am building a battery box and harvested these cells and BMS out of a Dr. Prepare 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery.
I have read that these cells need some room to swell and very tight fastening is not recommended.

So, these green straps are from the factory, I assume Renogy, since they build batteries for Dr. Prepare.
And the straps are very tight.
Should I cut the straps and tape the cells together with strapping tape or use something else or just leave them as is?

Seems to be working, right? Are you seeing anything that hints at needing to be fixed?

I see no reason to remove the existing straps.
