Hello

I am looking to install a Victron Smart Shunt.

The device only sends data by Bluetooth.

The rig will be at my allotment over one hour drive away so I would prefer remote monitoring.

I will have a WiFi router at my solar set up, and I am scratching my head to see if there is any way I can view battery data remotely using the WiFi and possibly a phone at the set up which could act as a conduit somehow between the smart shunt and my home fifty miles away ?

Easiest way would be to get either a Cerbo or raspberry pi with Venus OS on it and connect your shunt to it. You could then push all the data up to the Victron VRM.

I have heard of people using laptops or android phones where they could remote in. Not sure how people are doing it with the android phones, but you could use VNC or chrome Remote Desktop on the laptop.
