The new "My Sol-Ark" App and Migration to AWS is happening very soon.

3 Sol-Ark 15K, each with a different gateway software version.

4870123902R
4870122C12R

This was for my data points being inconsistent, on my charts I would get data points anywhere from 5 minutes to multiple hours apart. After the update
Is this in regards to the issue you experienced of the Settings not being saved?
What Version Software are you now using as shown under the "Gateway info"?
Mine shows: 4870122916R
My charts were showing inconsistent data points, instead of intervals every 5 minutes they would be 10-20 minutes, an hour, 2 hours, all over the place. After the update they are now consistently at 5 minutes again.

Old: 4870123211R

New: 48701244241R
*Edit: I should mention, the support agent got this firmware from 'their R&D team', so I'm guessing they are still testing this before mass deployment.

The settings change issue is NOT fixed, that is not an issue on the gateway but rather an issue with MySolArk where it won't let you set Max Solar above 12000, even though it was set to 16500 before (for a 15K).

Just an FYI, so far I have still been able to push settings via PowerView (but not the phone app, though) on any sites that were set up before the migration. There is no live data there. But settings populate according to current setpoints, and I can adjust settings. This has allowed me to set that Max Solar setting back up!

The connection does seem to be a bit hit-or-miss in PowerView though.

Also, just note that @Carlos_Sol-Ark told me, as he also mentioned further up in this thread, that they/he can push that setting for anyone who needs it adjusted! Just reach out to him if you need it! He has been very helpful for me already!

Also, on 15K inverters you can set it all the way to 18000 in PowerView! And a 15K will indeed push 18000! I have seen a triple 15K system push 54kW! That is 18kW each!

Here is a screenshot of the PowerView menu:

Wow that is cool.

Good afternoon solar friends. I have some hopeful news. My E-today number matches my inverter number today. Year totals still way off, and the setting for export on my sol-ark only allows 12k export, but progress is progress. I'm happy to see something going in the right direction.

I'll keep a watch on it over the weekend and see if the current reporting mismatch is resolved.

My E today number displayed in my plants list seems to be constantly low/lagging compared to the e today numbers displayed in Equipment/inverter page.

That and I decided to try to access my inverter parameters and all I get is a blank screen. On both the App and through solarkcloud.com using both my phone and tablet. No problem accessing it through S.A.

I just checked and I can access the settings through Powerview.

Hi Rodney. They seem to have some browser compatibility issues when accessing parameters. It works for me with Chrome, but not Firefox. Could try a different browser. Could be a compatibility issue with the phone and tablet easily if they are the same brand/browser.

Regarding E-today, that is the one thing Sol-Ark did fix for me after I called it in. Got sick of waiting for an email solution. I don't think they are keeping tabs on what is fixed via email tickets.

Just checked, and settings are indeed in powerview, on any browser. Freaky that it's still sending/connected to both.

My E-Today is also correct now.

It has been a week since I reported my settings in Work mode changing and it seems stable so far. I will give it a few more days and let SolArk close the ticket. I have not heard from them anyway and I am sure they have bigger issues to worry about. My E-Today and Solar Assistant data continue to track.

It's been 10+ days since I submitted my ticket. With no response, I submitted another one yesterday. This time I didn't even get an automated reply acknowledging receipt of my ticket. 😠

Edit: Today, July 31, I submitted a new ticket request. This time I got an automated reply and a ticket number. They've reworked the form, just click on Contact us.

Just chiming in to share that our R&D is hearing all the different bugs and concerns and addressing them as they come up. If you have not heard from the support team directly on a MSA ticket it is still logged and placed in buckets for review.
Some updates on a whole:

All data traffic for dongles are routed to AWS servers. Some pings still go back to E-linter at this time.
Energy Today reading values - FIXED
Max Sell Power limited to 12kW on 15K – FIXED
TOU settings Adjusting at random- FIXED
Settings Screen Not Loading up and displays a blank page - In progress [ Please refresh or try different browsers for the time being]

They are many others that cannot be enumerated in a single post. If they are further concerns continue to share that feedback to the support team Your welcome reach out to any of the Sol-Ark members on this forum [including myself].

Hi everybody / @Devin
I'll join the club with having sol-ark dongle issues. My transfer from powerview to mysolark app went smooth but stopped transmitting data 7 days ago. I called sol-ark support and they send me a firmware update that I completed on the dongle. It still didn't work. I called back two days ago. They just send me the same update and said it "should" work. Still not working.

Funny thing is each time they close out my service ticket as soon as they forward me the firmware software instead of waiting to see if it actually works. The last time the guy from support said just respond to the ticket that I'm about to close if it doesn't work and we will escalate the issue. I responded and guess what.. nothing happened nobody confirmed anything or even reached out to say they are working on it.

I'll have to call a 3rd time tomorrow to try to see if somebody can figure this out or at least they can tell me they are working on it.

Depending on what hardware version dongle you have will help see what workarounds may be available for the time being. If you can connect to the dongles EAP network on the 10.10.10.1 webpage you can find the hardware version and let the support team know.

Hi everybody / @Devin

Same deal here. My secondary inverter's gateway has been offline since the 23rd. It's hardwired to the same ethernet switch as my primary inverter's gateway (which is working just fine). It presents like the same hardware failure I had with a previous gateway (of which they immediately shipped a replacement)...solid red light and no IP address assigned by the router.

Been doing my best to work it out with support but they've been glacially slow to respond - even asking me to replace the cable (which I did) - as if copper goes bad. This evening it'll be two days since they said they were going to send me firmware. :cautious: Yes, I've reached out via email since then. Now I'm tracking that the firmware might just be a punt. Great...

For those of you at Sol-Ark the ticket # is 202153. Been a fan since the get-go but I feel the fandom dying a bit.

I did this, 2nd time I called. They said oh yea, you are already running the correct hardware version. Then proceeded to send me the same update file I installed last time. Closed out ticket before confirming it fixed the issue.

Told me to respond to the closed ticket because… I guess that’s how sol-ark does it.

Issue not fixed, tired of calling. Sol-ark's best feature no longer works. You pay for the customer support slogan is fading. At this point customer service can’t get their own products to work and communication is horrible.

2:39 PM - Get a call from a different tech that goes over my troubleshooting steps and agrees that I likely need a new gateway. He said he'll ship me one when they come in later this week. Nice!
3:45 PM - Get an email from the tech I had previously worked with that "Our software engineers are currently investigating the dongle problem. If it turns out to be a software issue, replacing the dongle may not be the solution. I will keep you informed as soon as we receive further information."
3:54 PM:
Your ticket "202153 Wi-Fi Connectivity" has been Closed.

We hope that we've helped you to the best of your satisfaction.

So it appears that the current numbers are now matching in the totals and graphs, within reason, it always lags behind SA.
But, looks like my totals for April through July, and thus my grand totals will never be right.

Has anyone gotten back their Historical Data?
I thought I remember one person saying that they did.

I’d be happy if I could just get any data. Mine is still not transmitting
Is your Inverter showing up as Online in MySolArk or is it still online in PowerView.
If the Dongle was not plugged in on the day of the Migration it would sill be on PowerView.

My Sol-Ark worked great for a couple of months. All historical data and options worked. Week and half ago it stopped transmitting any data. App shows my gateway is connected but no data transmission. Sol-ark send me updated firmware twice. Still doesn’t work.
