The judge has asked to question this man in private ... They are afraid he is going to confirm that Fani and Wade had a romantic relationship before Wade was hired .... (Fani and Wade claim the relationship happened later, but another witness has testified the relationship started much earlier .... a 2nd witness confirming this would prove the Fani and Wade have lied under oath.)
He was testifying on Fani and Wade's behalf, but now they think they have to destroy him and his credibility for fear of what he may tell the judge in private.

After Mr. Smirnov was arrested agents of the FBI obtained a warrant to search his home.

Among a plethora of Russian newspapers a laptop was found. After Smirnov refused to provide the password, agents for the cyber division were able to open the computer.

It appears Mr. Smirnov, who had been working for the FBI as an informant, was in fact a Russian KGB agent according to several reliable sources.

His emails are a treasure trove of information according to the lead investigator.

Smirnov’s emails contained communications with Vladislav Surkov a journalist for the Novosti Press Agency, a well know Russian propaganda network. One email from SurKov was a nearly exact match to the statement that Smirnov made under oath to the house impeachment committee investigating President Biden. A grand jury recently indicted Smirnov when evidence was presented that he lied under oath to the committee.

A list of other prominent figures he had frequent communications with include:

Tucker Carlson of the new Tucker Carlson Network

Mike Johnson speaker of the House

Tom Emmer majority whip

James Comer member of the Biden impeachment committee

Jim Jordan member of the Biden impeachment committee
