Hi all,

We have made a wooden electrical box that stores our batteries, MPPT charge controller, converter, bus bars, DC fuse box, and our inverter. We were wondering what would be the best option to create access to inverter outputs. Should we cut a rectangle hole at the height the inverter is sitting? Should we just make 2 small holes for the 2 AC output sockets? Are there options to cover the hole that we cut (maybe a sliding door) to make it waterproof when the sockets are no in use?

The inverter would be facing the right wall in the photos below and the front and top are covered by plywood panels.

Here are some photos:

This system will be used in our motorhome.

Use the screw-Terminals and wire them to a wall-mount socket which can be easily mounted in a hole in the plywood box.
Attention: the wiring an connections must be protected from being toucheable!
