What would be a good choice for a spot welder

So many ways to buy or build a spot welder and I have been watching so many YouTube videos, I am lost.

I see cheap one may or may not work or blowup.

Some that keep tripping the breakers or trips the breakers.

For now, I just want to rebuild some Ryobi battery packs.

Also found some battery tools that do not work any more and are nice to fix.

I decided to make my own, using a car battery, a timer and Mosfets.
