When you come on a solar forum and assume most here are like the general public, that's a bad assumption.
This is an open forum to the public so it makes sense that the "general public" is what makes up the majority of members.
You should read more books concerning critical thinking skills and logical analysis.
I've discovered that you can learn something from most working class people. All have an area of expertise.
You can learn all kinds of things from people, they don't have to be working class or any other class. Was this a recent discovery of yours? I find it odd that you label it as a "discovery"..
I'm not an electrical engineer like you, but I supervise the overhaul of large generators/steam turbines and understand how electricity is generated.
Great! You should take what you've learned about large generators and turbines to a generator and turbine discussion forum where you could probably say intelligent things based upon your experience.. as opposed to talking out your rear end making yourself look lonely and in need of attention.
The reason you discard my points and others debating you is you assume everyone else is beneath you in intelligence.
I don't think everyone else is beneath me in intelligence.. but I do think most of them are above you. And FYI, the average IQ in the USA is 98.. and judging by what I see on a daily basis, I'm going to say that number is generous.
There are lots of reasons to be skeptical about what is labeled "science" today.
Everything has become politicized, and you are in denial about it.
No there isn't actually. You are obviously not part of the science community and you are obviously not a member of any scientific forums.
Your world consists of public online discussion forums and quack websites. You don't have a degree in anything science related, and so far as I can tell, you have no science related hobbies.
I'm an electrical engineer, didn't even start joining online forums until I retired.. I'm also an amateur armchair astronomer and study astrophysics as a hobby because that stuff fascinates me to no end. As a result, I've joined astronomy forums and have frequented my local club.. I eventually got invited to join physics and astronomy boards that are not open to the public.. (they don't want quack jobs joining).
These people are not financial gurus, investment geniuses, or business people.. they are scientists.. some of them working on projects you've probably heard about in the news, many work for NASA, and some of them operate some pretty big telescopes. They even have people from CERN.
Science is not political.. the results are not political.. What you are exposed to through the public media, elected leaders, and various other sources, has been twisted, contorted, reinterpreted, and designed to conform to a message for one purpose or another. They do this because Billy Bob Dumb Dumb working at the car wash isn't capable of making sense of the science, so it has to be dumbed down to his level. Unfortunately, when you dumb most things down, the message might be accurate but the technical aspects of the explanation will almost always be inaccurate.
Enter High School Joe with access to google who wants to know more.. Joe starts researching what he's being told and finds the inevitable inconsistencies and thinks its some conspiracy. Joe then finds a website that pushes that conspiracy and then starts blabbering incoherently about it to everyone who will listen.
There is no hope for High School Joe because his doctor isn't paid to educate him on concepts and science Joe has no comprehension of. And if Joe had the motivation to dig much deeper into what he was researching, he wouldn't be "High School Joe", he would be Dr. Joe, or Engineer Joe, Computer Science Joe, or some other Joe with an actual education.
Joe is a nice guy, a great drinking buddy, he'll help pull you out of a snowy ditch, he'll donate to charity, and he loves his family..
But High School Joe doesn't understand the technical aspects of how the world around him works beyond what he can see, touch and feel, and he has no real interest in it.. He'd rather watch Sunday football, have a BBQ with his friends, and play baseball with his kids. And there's nothing wrong with that, Joe has a good life, and he's a good person, right up until Joe becomes an activist and spreads misinformation about something he has no qualifications to discuss. Why did Joe become an activist? I haven't figured that part out yet but I suspect it has something to do with his life no longer being fulfilling.
If you want to take drugs meant for farm animals, by all means, don't let me stop you.. but the fact that you're trying to convince others to do the same when you have no qualifications and can do serious harm to others, means you have other motivations, and they aren't good.
