One company owned the buildings and real estate, three different companies processing parts inside two different buildings.. a fifth company owned the semi-trucks for interstate travel, a sixth company owned the trucks for local in-state deliveries, and the last two were purely financial holdings for investment.

One of my small companies does a bit of machine repair as well as the occasional machine design and construction. Nothing major, I'm retired, I do this stuff in my garage/work-shop. I own an air compressor that is needed to run a plasma cutter as well as air tools, and I own a little device for that air compressor that helps remove any water vapor in the air line. Normal stuff to remove water from an air compressor.. Except the device I use to do the job is a little canister that works by passing the air through a roll of toilet paper.. Its a business expense..
