During research, I found it a bit frustrating having to source inverter specs from disparate sources so started collecting specs in a single spreadsheet. Thought the community could find it useful.

It's by no means complete, nor even entirely accurate. This is very much a work in progress.

It's set to read only for the time being, I can make it editable so it's community maintained. And there is a master copy so anything unwanted can be reverted.

i've been scouring for some that are standalone (minus the charge controller)....doesn't seem to be such a thing.

very nice, it's been added. I thought the LV and LVX were identical but there are some differences.
The LVX 6048 is a LF (with large transformer) high standby current Inverter, 120/240 only.
The LV 6048 is a HF (two smaller inverters set side by side in a single casing) with lower standby current inverter (120/120 or 120/240 output selectable)
They are very different.

I've been seriously considering this for an upcoming purchase. I'd really like to find out the idle consumption.

For a 10kW AIO, it's at a good price point for having a spare around.
I'm waiting for a reply on idle consumption from an alibaba retailer I've been chatting with.
FYI $960 for the SRNE 10kw, $260 DDP...
I'm also waiting to hear if that's air or sea freight.

Please update me, I"m interested as that's about half the price I'm seeing landed already in Canada.

Does DDP include all taxes or does buyer have to pay any import duty in addition?

$960+$260 = $1220 which is a great price if it is delivered to your door, all-in.

(I assume you’ve seen the other thread about an early owner who was surprised and disappointed about the import taxes purchasing direct from SRNE: https://diysolarforum.com/threads/import-duty-on-srne-all-in-one-solar-inverter.62449/

DDP is all in, delivery duties paid by seller...

I've seen that thread.

Sorry for the slightly off topic post.
Here is who I am dealing with, the agents name is Winter Wei.

I'll be making a decision in the next few weeks. The ground array will be going up once the humidity breaks a bit so I'll need more MPPT...

Appreciate the link. I searched through the site and see they sell a bunch of inverters including some SRNEs, but I did not see the split-phase 10kW model - did you just ask if they offered that model?

Have you purchased from that vendor before?

I assume you read the unofficial report the guy from Midnight Solar made on the split-phase 10kW model…

The 10kw was offered after I inquired about getting a Deye or Lux to the US...

I have not but don't have any concerns based on my interactions so far. I'm hoping to make my mind up in the coming weeks.

I did, doesn't give a big boost of confidence long term...

Got it thanks.

Funny, I came away with a very different reading (possibly because I don’t need even 5kW and could easily get by with 3kW).

Lack of repair-ability may be an issue for a reseller like Midnight Solar but is a non-issue for me.

The fact that the specifications are for real and that the units can be pushed for 2+ years at close to max ratings is very comforting to confirm.

Fan wearout is related to fan usage and I’d be ready to gamble that at average power of 3% of max ratings with occasional short-term surges to 30% of max ratings, I’ll get much, much longer lifetime from the stock fans.

It would be nice if replacing a blown fan was doable but with any cheap Chinese kit, replacing the entire unit when it fails is a viable option.

Did you see anything that causes you concern this SRNE 10kW unit is likely to have problems an MPP Solar 6kW split-phase unit wound not?

One thing I noticed when I removed my EAsun unit was the amount of dust collected up inside in a years time. Just like the old tower cases on a computer what tended to do them in was not cleaning out the dust that would build up. I can imagine being in a harsher environment such as a garage in Florida could really add to the stress on components.

I wonder how many failures can be attributed to dust buildup?

Good point.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure…
