is your inverter Connected to the grid?
Of course you want the inverter to give you a warning if the ac input is disconnected or power outage.

Under charge menu absorb and float (40-59v)

Theres 2 setting On Grid cut off voltage set this as a daily routine to transfer from battery to grid to support the load. Off Grid cut off set this the lowest and safely to discharge your battery. It is. This must be higher voltage than you bms lower voltage cut off to prevent turning off the inverter. It is

I am not following.

You don’t have to worry about this if your battery is not closed communication with the inverter

currently 1 daly bms 4p16s. I have 4 seplos bms to install to make 16s4p. Will it matter then? or put lithium1?

Well it was a question I had too because I was trying to get a Felicity solar batteries to communicate with it and could not no matter which one I tried, and of course every time you set the battery you have to go through a power cycle which is quite annoying. Try doing all this in a 95° garage and you will have questions too.

You would set it to lead acid. Since the inverter isn’t able to communicate with those batteries.

So you’re saying the settings won’t stay when you try and set voltages in lead acid mode?

You have to do it one a time, just Make sure float is lower than absorb, then set the absorb first then press set and next set float and press set.

If you have 4 same bms then you make all 4 battery to communicate through rs485 and you can try to communicate with the inverter using pylon protocol or lux protocol set by Seplos Bms software.

Have done this probably 20 times. Will not allow any adjustments on bulk or float

Find a way to connect the inverter to internet, i think its easier for me if i see your current settings.

Good morning DIY people!

I seem to be having an issue with the LCD update on the 18kpv that I could use some assistance with.
I'm formatting my usb stick to fat32.
I've extracted the files on two different pc's.
Loaded the folder DWIN_SET on the stick, rebooted the AIO and it walks past the update.
I've loaded the files from the folder on the stick, rebooted the AIO and it walks past the update.
The LED on the stick lights up when inserted, so that is a good sign.
I also watched Gavin's video and Zapper77's video and this should be stupid simple. It's not my first rodeo updating a device from usb.
The only think I can think of is that system doesn't support 32gig sticks (smallest I own).

Thoughts?

It's entirely possible that it doesn't like the size of the drive. I actually had to buy a smaller drive for some logging off another inverter because it didn't like the higher capacity drives.

Did you format the stick with the exact DOS commands ?
I put the folder and a set of the files in the root of the drive too.
Did you disconnect all power, PV, battery and grid ?

I wonder if you can make a 4gb partition and leave the rest unallocated.
