Well. Another
blue charge controller is on the way to Casa Q.

Plus a few other bits. 6 months since my back surgery and I'm good to go! I'm ready to get up on the roof and mount some things permanently over here!
But the back surgery wasn't my only hangup. It also took me a while to get the nerve to put a bunch of holes in our roof. I drew up plans for a solar pergola, and even bought some of the materials to build it. Then we had a bunch of tornadoes and bad weather that made me rethink the solar pergola idea.

Maybe later.
Last week I did the layout and installed about half of the rail feet and the rails that I had on hand. Drilling the first hole was the hardest part.

I also shortened one of the vent stacks so panels can go over the vent instead of around it. I used up the hardware I had on hand ... still waiting on one rail kit to come in.
I probably need a few more things I haven't thought about yet, but in this heat I'm in no hurry. I get up on the roof at first light and quit around 11am. Back feels great ... knees, not so much.
