The new "My Sol-Ark" App and Migration to AWS is happening very soon.

Just a check in here? Does anyone have accurate reporting yet in the new sol-ark monitoring tool? My PV production figure still roughly matches load instead of being a true number. The data under the "Equipment" tab is generally more accurate, with the exception of the "E-Year" number that is way off there as well.

To Sol-Ark and @Carlos_Sol-Ark. Any timeline of getting this resolved? Would you like some consulting help to resolve it?

I'll be generous and throw in the first consult/conversation for free :)

Dave: What work are you avoiding by attempting the fixes you are attempting now?
Company under consult: Nothing. We are trying to fix it!

Dave: Do you have priority customers that are working?
Company under consult: Yes, we make sure to fix them right away!

Dave: Fix the other customers that way.
Company under consult: That would take 3 weeks!

Dave: How long have you been working on this problem?
Company under consult: 4 weeks.

Dave: . . . Silence
Company under consult: . . . Silence

Awkward, but the conversations that need to be happening right now. Not even being mean or sarcastic. Just real.

Have a great day all!

Mine has been reporting accurately for 2-3 weeks now. It was only in early June that I had issues for a few days.

Reporting is not an issue for me because I have been relying on Solar Assistant. However the daily and monthly totals seem to be correct on MySolArk. I have become accustomed to the Solar Assistant display so I only check the MySolArk ocassionally.

Mine is still reporting the Consumption + Charging total as E-Today, and overall totals are still off.
Thank you Tulex. Mine seems more like consumption + import as E-today. Charging is not taken into account. Mine is not net-meter yet though.

I hope they are indeed still working on it since we are obviously still in a bad place monitoring wise.

Send me your serial numbers directly, and I will see what I can do. I cant promise I can find a direct resolution on my end simply because its out of my department, but at least I can look directly at it myself.

Mine is doing it also. I don't expect the eMonth and eYear to be correct until they Import my Historic data. I still have not gotten mine.
Other than that everything seems to be fine. Graphing, stored data, System Settings etc are all perfect.

I offered to consult. Could use a trip to Texas. If they are still letting people work from home instead of a all hands on deck command center at this point, then... well. Changes must be made.

Has anyone had their historical data prior to the switch over this June get restored yet? I got nothing.

Yes, all of my data (only started in late 2022) is now visible through mysolark.com
Hi SolarFlares,
Are you looking at energy generation under "Day". If you flip back through the days until say June 1. You will probably see nothing. Unless you are one of the lucky ones.

I can see some aggregate data, but not the day detail.

Dave

I still have not received any of the Daily Data from June 4th 2023 to June 5th 2024.
I though they said it would be available by the 26th?
PowerView only stored one year of daily data.

Oh you are talking about the individual data for each day? I have all of the aggregate data. So my tabs for Total, Year, and Month are all transferred over and complete going back to 2022. The data under Day is only loaded from June 5th, 2024. For my purposes that's all I need but I know some people want all the details for their history.

Hi,
I agree the daily detail missing is not a deal breaker, but I would encourage you to check the rest carefully as well. For example, my PV production nearly matches load, instead of actual. The main dashboard does not match the "equipment" tab figures.

Under Equipment, E-total is nearly 1,000kWh more than the E-year figure. E-total should be the larger, and include all production. I did find one day in May that the chart said I produced 1,200kWh (not the case).

I hope it is all fully functional for you. On my particular system, there are quite a few inaccuracies. Hard to trust any of the data, when several obvious examples are wrong.

monitoring is still terrible here, and I just discovered a new issue, there appears to be an issue with the value ranges for settings, a setting I've had configured forever is now reported as 'out of range', so it won't let me save any settings changes. here's the response from support;

'I do apologize about any inconvenience this may have caused. Our Tech support and engineering team are working on getting the app up and running to meet customer satisfaction. Settings are extremely important and the bug should be resolved in the on coming weeks.'

Question for anyone else here with Solar Assistant and also PV Pro/Powerview and/or MySolArk.

What do your data points look like when comparing Solar Assistant to data from SolArk via PV Pro/PowerView or MySolArk? I have one site with Solar Assistant and I am seeing the SolArk show a bit higher numbers than what Solar Assistant shows... I'm referring to historical records, not realtime etc. For instance SA says April had 3,700kWh of PV while PowerView says 4733.9kWh of PV..... ????? I honestly never looked that closely because I assumed PowerView was correct and I was using Solar Assistant for realtime data and for zooming in to see what was happening at XYZ time leading up to a fault etc. Now I'm questioning which is even right....

Does anybody have any comparison to a 3rd party energy metering device to back up the accuracy of SolArk or Solar Assistant?

Up until April, my numbers matched almost spot on. Nothing matches after that. Even daily.

For yesterday Mysolark vs SA

Load - 35.2 vs 35.5
PV - 34.9 vs 50.3
Charge 26.3 vs 26.2
Discharge 15.3 vs 15.6

I would almost bet that your PV produced is the difference between load and import. Figured this out this morning.

Has anyone heard if they have an update on when this non-sense is going to be fixed? I've added more to my system and have NO idea what it is doing on the monthly data. The day to day data is a mess...never matches what the inverter is doing from plant view. Do I need to open a ticket with them to get this fixed? I've heard from a lot of you that this is doing nothing to get issues resolved.

Still can't change settings remotely with app. It started out that I would have to log into the old app to change settings and that was fine while they worked on things....but that doesn't work anymore either.

Too much money for their equipment to not have access to it remotely. Seems pretty rudimentary to have that functionality....especially when it worked before.

I know...I know...."patience".....right? Well I have had patience and honestly....its going on 2 months now of this stuff not working even remotely as it should. Pretty over it. If I want accurate information I have to install more hardware and run more software. Lame.

You are correct, both say my import was .3
