BATTERY SELLERS - THE GOOD, BAD, UGLY -- or Jenny (DOCAN) so far so good ...

I ordered 16 EVE 304AH battery cells from Docan Technology on 1/7/2022, and they still have not arrived. Has anyone had any issues with not receiving battery cells they have paid for? Sandy Zou is the contact, and she has responded to all of my messages. Our last round of messages stated that the cells would arrive at the port on 3/15/2022 and I would receive them around 3/20/2022, but I still have no tracking information, and they have not arrived yet. I am waiting for a response to my last message I sent her today. I just thought I would check here as this is my first time dealing with Docan Technology via Alibaba.
You will have to wait a little, as long as they are still on the boat, you will not get any tracking information available. That's the cons of ordering from china, anyway that's something you should have know before ordering. things are getting longer with the war situation.

You get what you pay for. If you want superior tracking, companies like UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc will provide that at a serious cost.

If they are responding to your emails, that is always a good thing. I deal with Daisy and I trust her enough that when something happens, I will get an email. If I do not get an email, that means nothing has happened. No reason to send an email only to get an email back that indicates nothing has happened.

I also ordered January 5th and they have yet to show up in UPS system. I have ordered from Jenny in the past and have no concerns about the delays just yet. She did say the boat has arrived in port March 17th, so it will take time to be processed from that point.

My guess is they go to a consolidator who tries to fill a container. The low cost consolidators do not have enough profit to notify each package recipient of the location of that container on the ocean. I would also guess it is a rush last minute thing until a container is full.

BUT the chinese sellers are giving their own tracking info which is different then what they give us -- they give us from the time it hits the states forward .. what I like to do is ask the Chinese supplier to tell me the name of the ship that it is going on and then I can track it from there .... As for LFP -- we are still getting our batteries literally 2 days after we put the order in from HOUSTIN via DONCAN .... same price as getting it from China

That is a good idea if they will give it to you. I tried it once two years ago with a small order and had no luck. I can't remember which vendor.

I can say the two orders I got, they were not in the warehouse longer than a couple days before the UPS tracking number was sent to me.

I know all business' screw up once in awhile and I have only had two small orders, but I would certainly be a bit more patient.

so I was watching a little YOUTUBE to get ready for the night shift ... YEP spending New Years Eve on a 24 hour shift out here in the Middle of South Texas as the On-Call technician ... just me - 200 Coyotes (dogs not smugglers) and a bunch of drillers and rough necks that really just needed a break ... but hey - it beats almost anything else I can think of and someone will of course wind up bringing us out a huge BBQ something or other (but i digress)

So I was watching this video --
-- and although he is a slow talker (NO offense intended at all) - he really sums up what most people go through buying batteries . I too have done business with Winny, Jenny @Jenny Wu , and Amy @Amy Wan (Luyuan) and what he says is pretty much spot on ... I got the impression that Winnie was a former Telemarketer scammer (and a good one at that) -- not one thing she said was correct ... the batteries looked like crap - and tested all over the place ///

Amy was excellent and got quite the following here but then her prices went ballistic -- and then Jenny.

Jenny and her company (DONCAN) has been straight shooters (another Texas phrase i picked up) through all the batteries we have purchased. My boss is about to purchase 70 more from the Houston office and if the client likes those then there will be allot more after that ...

But @Jenny Wu so farhas been great to work with - her English is better than mine - and she's seems really honest. Also the ppl in Houston is really good to work with - my boss just wishes that they had a loading dock instead of having to lift and pack 50 cartons of batteries from a pallet to the back of a long bed ... by hand

Just to be honest - besides the obvious DNA - i have zero to do with the company - we don't get any discounts (which of course my boss keeps asking me to push that "hey help a sister out" message (LOL) - but we are not paid to say anything -- Im just saying this to help those that are new (and scared like I was) to let you know that there are still some good ppl out there -- and DONCAN is one of them ....

anyway - i am wishing all of you a great new year ... hopefully better than 2021 but I said that about 2020 .. aaaggghhhh

I just tried to order from Docan, and they do not list any payment method other than Bank Wire Transfer -is anyone else aware of this,or of what I am missing in trying to complete this order with a credit card?

Did you email them to set up the order? They can provide a few ways to process payment!

I don't know about the website if that's where you tried to order. Contact Jenny Wu directly and I'm sure she can direct you to a credit card method. jennywu896@gmail.com

I purchased batteries twice with Docan. I used PayPal on both transactions. On the second transaction, there was an issue on their end but it was resolved in a week or so. My transactions were done with Daisy.

How was the quality of the cells you received? I assume you must be happy if you ordered a second time?
