I have the same problem and can't get it set right yet. I have the big battery elite 19kwh and been using my chargeverter to charge it back for night time use...Something I am struggling with is how to get the unit to recharge the batteries from the mains, it is probably a setting that I don't have right but I can't figure it out at the moment. It will draw from the mains but seemingly only to cover loads. Charging only seems to come from the panels and they are not covering my consumption anymore so I need a little help from the grid.
It's not solar here, it's wind. The largest wind farm operator in Iowa is Mid American and they intend to own the wind power here. I received this just yesterday from someone well connected in the area, nothing occurs without him knowing about it.Utility companies in my area are phasing net metering out completely because they have massive solar farms in production. I’m sure there are other factors involved as well. I think it’s a shame in a way. It was a chance for people to recoup the cost of their system faster.
I’m more interested in off grid. But I realize that’s a preference thing.
You have to setup TOU, there are 3 sets of them.I have the same problem and can't get it set right yet. I have the big battery elite 19kwh and been using my chargeverter to charge it back for night time use...
Thanks, I'll try that, had signature solar try to set it but still not charging the battery right. I made some changes today and going to try that, they also did the firmware update...You have to setup TOU, there are 3 sets of them.
My neighbor has an agreement with the utility company here. He tells me he has no bill 6 month out of the year and he gets no credit for extra below a zero use bill in any given month. When the power go's out so does his. For me I decided a preference thing as you stated.Utility companies in my area are phasing net metering out completely because they have massive solar farms in production. we didn't try to look like a block and fill in the space behind our wire box, the trough is no problem because of thatI would die with shame if you made me show my lash up at the moment lol.
But serious question, how does the trough affect the cooling flow with these units?
This is a sweet sweet set up!

The fans rarely kick on. Seems like around 6k+ Solar input and the fans kick on (ramp up as needed) and off (thermally controlled?) They also kickon and stay on when load hits 6k...(I'll go check that now)Yeah I'm liking the look of that, maybe 8" wireway spaced away from the wall by vertical 2x4.
