4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

Fedex came in today ?

Will open a thread to not derail yours... when everything gets here...
Thanks to your review... i got mine ... ?
Nice.
Glad my ramblings have been useful.
Looks like they added corner protectors to the box, that's a nice touch.
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, I'll help as much as I can.

Random update.
Not much to report. Everything is still working great.
I was amazed how much the angle of the panels has an impact on production after seeing it in real world conditions today... I'd ran the calcs on PVwatts to know it made a difference but it was rewarding seeing the work paying off.

Mppt1 in the attached photos is the S facing ground mount with 3.66kw of used panels angled ~55° (winter angle).
Mppt2 are the roof mounts with 2.83kw facing S and 2.83 facing W.

Never did get to taking it offline to test the N/G bond. I'll add it to list when I shut the coal stove down in a month or so for cleaning.

Those ugly red lines in the graph are testing the generator connection for battery charging if needed and a sad 2 days on the grid while I let the envision cells balance a bit (I'll be sure to top balance the next pack or add an active balancer).

I put an offer in on 20 acres last week, if I don't get it I'll be ordering another SRNE and buying an EUV....

Still beyond thrilled with Some Really Nice Equipment. ?

How many battery packs do you have, I assume at least two for 10k? No issues with those envision batteries? Looks like they have more coming in.

3, 2 230ah EVE and 1 305ah Envision.
No issues besides I should have top balanced or used a BMS with an active balancer, I see ~0.15mv deviation at the top of the knee that irritates me.

You can add a balancer... to your existing BMS... less stress on the BMS = less % of failure in the future...
This ones have great reviews over at aliexpress...

Definitely get an active balancer. Life saver. In my 100ah packs I use a 5a heltek with a a30 voltage relay to start at 3.45v. Andy’s off grid grarage turned me on to the voltage controller. My packs were always Fd up when I had the balancer running all the time or tried only using the passive balancer in the BMS.

Thanks. I'll order a couple.
Issue will be having to take everything back apart to install them...
I knew I should have made the shelf/rack taller and set it to left of the trough instead of under it....

Thanks to whoever it was that ordered from this store before me and verified they were legit.
Shipping took about 2 weeks iirc.

If anyone is interested in the internals, I came across a recent video on youtube (the captions are pretty bad...). Internals start around 11 minutes in.

Please point out the good, bad and ugly.

Inverter showed up today. Different model name but everything seems the same. 0 mention of any monitoring software in the manual. Oh well

Interesting. Did you order directly through SRNE? I'm guessing that is another distributor that is relabeling.
The only advice I can give on monitoring software is Solar Assistant.
Time to get wiring and enjoy.

Up and running a small load. No issues so far. No noticeable light flickering. Saw around a 2kw difference between legs without an issue during some brief testing. The instant switching from the battery disconnect is what sold me. I'm having trouble with the monitoring software but that seems pretty typical. Now i need to hunt down some inexpensive class t fuses. Thanks to everyone here for all the good information

Can't help with the monitoring software, Solar Assistant is the way (make sure you join the beta and run the latest version, I had some connection issues with older versions but I can't blame them on SA; they could have been user error)
@Mattb4 found the best price on fuses.
I use the links below but buy them when the holders are available used like new.

Blue Sea Systems 5118 Class T 250 -Amp Fuse https://a.co/d/izP3UF5

Blue Sea Systems Class T Fuse Blocks https://a.co/d/fCbGfBN

Why a T-fuse? Not a mega fuse? MRBF ?

I just ordered these ten minutes before reading your post. Do you still have the original monitoring hardware? I might want it if you aren't using it

From what I understand mega and MRBF are not capable of stopping an arc from a dead short at 48v lifepo4 operating voltages, the class T has the interrupt rating for it.
I'm know other experts have explained it in much greater detail, a search or class T vs mrbf or mega will find you some great discussions.

I still have the wifi dongle in the box, you should get one with the inverter. I'm not sure on what the software is used for wireless monitoring. I can dig up the software for hardwiring to a pc unless @Kenny_ has it bookmarked.
