these Units sell for over $1800 each, wit a grand total of $3600

I have not tested them because they were removed from a corporate office and are EXTREMLY HEAVY ...Please don't ask me any details regarding its functions because frankly I don't know. “

I would personally make that choice, but I'm okay with the risk of setting that $400/$800 on fire.

If they'll let you open the battery up on arrival and measure individual cells, and all are > 3.0V, then yep.

Be prepared to replace BMS, use cells from both to build one good one, etc.

Those look very similar to SOK batteries. Looks like a shipping damage issue caused these to get refused so this person bought them for pennies from the warehouse where things like that go. Wherever they came from whoever has them probably paid almost nothing (if anything) for them so they might jump on a $100 for the pair after a week or two.

Breakers are in the "ON" position and the display is not lit up. Step one would be turn the breakers off, push RST button for a couple of seconds and see if the display lights up. If it does you can fumble through menu and find SOC and individual cell voltages. Wearing PPE you could then turn the breakers on and see if there is voltage the terminals.

They look like they are completely dead. I wouldn't buy it.

If they need a new BMS what would I use I’m trying to get a price point reference if you have a link?
Is there any way to tell cycle count?

BMS's range from $50-300 depending on features.

On the screen there should be a page showing cycle count.

Thanks! anyone know if this brand is considered ok? Or what kind of cells they use?

What makes them look dead?

I would buy them. But I'm a risk taker like @sunshine_eggo lol.

Looks like it's been opened before. The power switch/breaker is in the ON position and screens are dark. One of the screens looks like it's cracked/busted.

Tell him you'll give him $150/each 300.00 for the lot. Also make it sound like you are doing him a favor, make some bs about safety and what not, yeah make some FUD up and see how low the price you can get. :)

Yeah. I was assuming $400 for the pair. If he let me open the cases up and confirm all cells are 3.0V or higher, I'd give the asking price... hesitantly... :)

I bought them. One worked with a quick fix but has a slightly wonky BMS. The one with the broken display I haven't touched yet

Adventures to follow as they develop

How much of a fight did they put up when you offered 400 for the pair?
