I purchased two LFP batteries at random on amazon, mostly curious to why it was so cheap?

Both "100 ah" checked out around 65 ah on my bench test with an inverter with low voltage disconnect at 10.50v.

I ran a redundant test using a DC battery tester and got 75 ah, this time with the batteries in series (25.6v nominal) and discharged the pack down to 3.5v, so 0.4375 volt per cell? I didn't know there wasn't a BMS inside the pack and this led me to open the case to see what was going on. They decided a Daly balancer was all that was needed?

Is this the new trend of cheap LFP? The seller discontinued this battery and replaced it with a new version. All the details/material is all the same, just a new color and name it appears.

Few pictures.

Listing from Amazon, old name LFPUCH and the new one is PMP01. They ship the two randomly.

There are a few others with very simular listings, however I don't know for sure if it's the same no BMS issue as these.

THey were really easy to turn into a 24v battery though, it was all nuts & bolts.

Yeah, I'd actually like to get a couple more just to convert.

That could explain why some of the 50 ah 24 VDC pre-made batteries I see for sale are cheaper than the DIY parts I purchased off alibaba from AMY at Luyan: 50 AH + BMS + Case + Buss Bars.
