Anyone figured out how to change time on 6000XP monitor apps

I changed both the GMT times by first going on the computer EG4 monitor site and going to User Center and editing the GMT time, it changes there but not update on the monitor page, also went on the phone app and editing thru its User settings. I can edit and change in both platforms and it saves the changes but it does not update the applications. Not sure if its just me but has anyone else had success changing their time after the initial registration. Thanks, Rick N

So no one has come across this problem? Unfortunately when I set it up initially I had the GMT time an hour behind, now with daylight savings time its 2 hours behind. Just dont understand if I can change and save it in both apps why it doesn't change in the monitor screens.

I have experienced a similar problem and got no answers yet. My monitor center ignores the time set on the 6000xp and the time set in the monitor app and runs about 12 hours fast. I have to reset the time in the app/6000xp everyday to the correct local time but all of the data is flagged with the 12-hour fast time. All of the GMT-5 and DST's are the same on the PC and Mobile. Makes the data pretty useless and as yet unknown how it affects anything triggered by time.

Anybody got any idea's other than move 12 hours east.

Thanks

Mike E.

Actually, its only 10 hours fast and I just reset it again in the monitor program. Note the System Information time and the computer time in the bottom right corner.

The time has to be changed in 3 places. On the user account, the station and in the maintenance settings. Feel free to DM me your serial number and I can help with this.

Eric,

Thanks appreciate the support. Sent you the DM with the serial number.

SOLUTION: Make sure you set GMT right we in the US are minus GMT not plus GMT. So, if you are EST then GMT-5, CST GMT-6, MST GMT-7, and PST GMT-8. And make sure you set the GMT in the three places. This will make the system time the same as local time if you set the date and time correctly in the Maintenance tab.

I really feel stupid.

Thanks. I think the maintenance tab was key. However today’s cumulative totals in overview got zeroed out. Not surprised. Hopefully tomorrow all will be straight. Brand new to solar.

I have struggled with getting my new EG4 to keep the correct time. I'm in GMT-5 (EST). I touched all 3 places (hat tip to Mike on that one) many many many times. My final step each time was to go to the maintenance tab - and set the time to the current EMT. If I do a READ afterwards it updates to the correct EST time (the seconds will have changed). If I do a 2nd READ it *ALWAYS* shows 5 hours in the future. So is the work around just accept the GMT time (5 hours ahead of EST) and just set my schedule to work with it? I was some folks use a program called Solar assistant - I'll have to look at that.

If you provide us your inverter's serial number, we can definitely take a look at this for you.
