4.8 KW out of 1.6 kw of PV.Pretty good for central Maine, nice sunny cold day.
My basic mathematical skills tell me that your calculations are off here ?50 volts is still 3.57 volts per cell, so it is well out of any danger still. Had the grid gone down, I have it set to run down to 48 volts, 3.42 per cell, which is less than 15% remaining.
Start here, he runs Chevy Bolt 14S6P NMC https://diysolarforum.com/threads/adding-storage-to-my-enphase-system.10797/My basic mathematical skills tell me that your calculations are off here ?
Edit, unless you have 14 cell batteries ?
Fog here and it is thick. I'm sitting at 49% this morning, I doubt I make it to Tuesday when the sun is possibly coming back.
What is that grid thing? Mine is always on zero........Started yesterday

Actually made it for 10 hours. It stayed cloudy. But was bright enough to almost cover my loads. And slow down battery discharge.I'm 0.1v away from grid charging kicking in. lol
Electric dryer? I bought the all in one GE heatpump washer and dryer. Cut my laundry usage in half.Actually made it for 10 hours. It stayed cloudy. But was bright enough to almost cover my loads. And slow down battery discharge.
Until the dryer kicked on. lol
Your usage sounds like mine. I have been doing ok for the month but we have been supercharging our Tesla's more than half of the month. Good thing is all my Tesla's have free supercharging for life, so no costs, but the time wasted at the supercharger sucks.Got 1425 kWh this month so far.
Not horrible but less than expected and about half what I will use.
I really need to get some more panels up I guess.
YupElectric dryer?
I looked at that option. But we do multiple loads. And it would take forever, unless I had two of them.I bought the all in one GE heatpump washer and dryer. Cut my laundry usage in half.
