Beginner needs to buy components before going to Mexico

How far is the neares village with internet ?
30 miles is just posible

That would be awesome but we don’t have internet. Though our place is listed as San Felipe we’re actually 25 miles out of town. No power, water, or sewer. Or is it no phones no lights no motor cars on Gilligans island.

25 miles is not a problem, see my other comments, plenty of very good Ubiqutu equipment on the market for nice prices

10 miles to small town
I get the phone to turn on about 3/4 up my drive way.
If I look at my service cloud on line the top of my Mountain should have service but it just Dosent work all the time .
I have to sit on a rock in the yard , I have a single booster on the ridge of the cabin and it helps , I have 3 bars now , but drops down to one and then none .
A few years ago it worked better ,
They must of moved the tower or some thing ?

Try realigning , check if your booster is still amplifying according specs (70 a 80 DB )?
where is your sending antenna mounted ? must be at a distance from your receiving antenna, do you get error messages from your amplifier ?

it works good
They make a fm60 but I would not bother with it .
It’s a good price .
Morning star an mid nite is allso good .

The antenna is 30’ foot up on the roof .
The unit seams to be working .
But I’m not good with that type of stuff
I have a red error light but it stays green

Is your antenna a kind of a triangle type ? if so, aim the point of the triangle to the cell tower and keep it horizontal
By the way my amplifier works on 5V dc with a power supply 110 to 5 v

Yep I have the second controller and 15 more 295 watt panels .
I need racking and the breaker to add to my flex power one out back system .
Off grid things take for ever to finish .
The stuff has been sitting here for 3 years

I really want to get my grundfus SQF pump in the ground first .
I all most have all the parts for that ?

I’m scared to mess with it ? the first one worked much better but I was trying to tweak it , I dropped it and broke the dam thing ☹️

The outback inverters are able to start any motor in their power range their 1 sec and 3 sec peak power is amazing
You can feel on their weight plenty of copper/transformers and coils inside
My 3600 wat inverter start easy 1 HP pool pump and 3/4 deep well pump !
 
I have no problem with any thing I have a 120v 3600 watt inverter at 48 volts
If the sun is out it will run any thing ?
 
O boy I wish I was in Mexico .
I’m in the northeast us
4 hours west of my city .
I’ve been cutting fire wood for days now
