Can anyone identify this unit

Hi all

I purchased the bellow unit two days ago and it doesn't appear to function correctly, when switching priority to solar only it goes straight to battery mode, the only way I can get it to use any PV power is to switch the inverter off on the main side power button and it starts to charge the batteries.

Firstly the company are saying it needs new firmware, but they don't know where I should get it from, im guessing its similar to an Axpert pip unit, ive checked the serial number and found a thread which shows this to be a genuine unit but rebaged, but not sure what or where to get the firmware from.

Then the company stated it must be an issue with my PV units, but if i connect my old SCC everything works fine.

Any ideas on firmware download locations or even what model this is based on?

Welcome to the rollercoaster of pointing blame to the rain, (or sun) (or wind) anything except the product...

It is clear that it does not function the way it should.
My honest advise:
Send it back!!!! Today.

I've had my share of "half functioning" MPPT hybrid inverter.
The last one that I needed to return (I bought 3 units)..
One was dead at start, and the other 2 kept having all strange kind of problems.
Biggest problem I found out too late....
It charged the batteries (48v setup) with 78 Volt !!!
(EASUN MPPT Inverter)
Needless to say what that did to my 16 X 200Ah deep cycle lead acid batteries.
4500 USD out in smoke... They are defective and the seller doesn't feel responsible.

It should work out of the box, directly.
If it doesn't, don't try to please the seller and letting him know in what way it does work...
Sometimes
It simply should not need.

If you stand on your left leg, your broken right leg doesn't hurt that much any more.
That doesn't mean you are healthy and have 2 functional legs!!
Don't start with workarounds!!

They sold it.
They have QA.

And basic function like this, blaim on Firmware???
Lol.
Then it should not have passed QA to start with..

Start dispute if you buy from AliExpress or Alibaba.
Or via your creditcard company.

This is a DOA, dead on Arrival, not functioning defective product.
Safe your money!!!

Worry about the unit later.

After a long journey I now have the Revo II MPPT inverter
3 * the 3.2 KW and this one works amazing.
