Class T Fuse and Holder don't line up, what would you do?

I just got in a holder and class T fuse, separately ordered, and the Class T fuse doesn't lay flat on the holder. I haven't been able to figure out, yet, which one of these is "off", but, since it is the same in any orientation, roughly, then I'd say it is just one of them. What would you do? I don't think I have fine enough tools to figure out which is straight and which isn't, but any recommendations?

The Blue Sea fuse holder is probably good. That fuse’s tabs are out of time.

Tighten 'er down!

Loosen the outside nut.

Also, CLEAN those surfaces.

Yeah, that thing looks like it’s been rolling around in a drawer for a while. Scotch bright the contact surface of the fuse.

I suppose you could fabricate a tapered shim to match the offset, but I think I agree with just clean up the surfaces and tighten it down.

Thanks for all of the responses! It's my first T Class fuse, and wasn't sure what to expect, and also whether tightening it down enough to align the contact surfaces would break something.

It could. But it probably won't.
