EG4 6000XP Released, ordered. Let's Go!

If you received the newest one, it’s really not a JK, no one’s sure what it is.
I'm guessing he means the inverter model and not the "jkess" name imposter with positive and negative battery connections on the BMS board.

It is the JK-PB2A16S20P, has the dip switches etc.. I currently have 4 of them all communicating with each other in parallel.

Keep us posted on a DIY battery install inspection in Mi.
Good luck!
Just had my inspection, he was very impressed with the system and felt everything was good to go but wanted to review the codes before giving a green sticker, so he said to schedule that for next week. The only thing as of now he pointed out was I need to label the conduit outside that it is a dc circuit, needs to be red and white and a certain size, anyone know what the size is by chance? He also said I could go ahead and turn the system on in the meantime if I wanted that structurally and electrically it looks great and safe.

I am a bit nervous about the re inspection on what he may find in the 2023 code book, that I may have done wrong or missed though! :)
I was really hoping to be done after today lol, hopefully only 1 more week of stress, haha.

Here is a quick video I made last week of the system if anyone is interested.

Looks great!

Okay, this is exciting, everything is powered on and is working! :) I have a question though, I have 3 6000xps in parallel, I watched the video on setting up the jk bms to communicate with the inverter and works perfectly but what about the other 2 inverters, I have the battery set as lead acid type on those.. do I also change it to lithium and run a ethernet cable to a different jk bms in another battery (not the master bms like i did with my master inverter)? All the jk bms's are in parallel also and talking to each other.

ohh it is 3:30 and gray/overcast and raining off and on and producing 2500 watts, not sure if that is good or not, but its about 10 percent of what the panels can produce.

*Now it is only about 800 watts total lol

My 6600 watt array is giving me 224 watts. Its raining and crappy

Well it is not all good news, one of my arrays (10 panels in series) is only producing a quarter of what the others are and much lower voltage. I checked the voltage on all the arrays prior to turning the system on and all of them were about 350 volts each. What would cause this, a bad panel?

Bad panel, mis wired, bad connection
