Hi,
I'm looking to build an emergency portable solar power backup system. I'm thinking:
1. 1kw solar panel
2. 24v
3. 8x 3.2v prismastic cell 280ah
4. 2-3kw inverter
So far, I'm looking at different BMS solutions. Will this work for my purpose:

Specifications
** - given that BMS is mounted on cool metal surface.
Questions:
1. It seems like sustain discharge is 60A. This is about 1440w correct? Can I run a basic welding machine on this that works noramlly on 110v/15A power. How big inverter should I choose?
2. How is this BMS compared to Chargery? This costs $280 vs chargery which is $140 for BMS16T
3. Should I shoose 8s or 16s? Is 16s required only for 48V system?
