Hello from the Motor City

I work in Detroit and live in the northern suburbs. I have been interested in solar but never did anything about it because my house was the only thing that was a solar power possibility. But recently we bought a new Bronco and I plan on doing some weekend camping trips throughout the Great Lakes. I watched Will's videos and am inspired to build a portable solar power center to run small appliances and charge my phone/laptop. I'm hoping what I learn on that little endeavor will lead to me adding solar to my house.
