IronRidge mounting hardware prices...

I am looking for the mounting hardware for 14 545w panels. 2 strings.
panel measurement is 90.40 x 44.65 x 1.38 inches each.

I am looking at IronRidge, and used their design tool, and the estimates (if I used it correctly), were around:
for Landscape orientation panels $7,200
for Portrait orientation panels $4000

Rails XR-100-168A

Might need to add more clamps, (panel mounting instructions says to use 12 bolts or clamps on each panel if too windy. (Hurricanes).
The roof is flat concrete and I am thinking of at least 15degrees tilt.

Wondering about those prices, Doesn't it look like a lot?

So 7360 watts, right?

I just made an order for a project using 15 x 535 modules. Below is what I ordered and it came out to 16 cents/watt plus another ~$200 the S-5! Solar Feet.

Metal building so rails have to run N-S and modules are in landscape.

Here is an example of the costs for Snapnrack, from the local GEXPRO.
Gexpro also sells Ironridge products, I went w/ Snapnrack because I was already familiar w/ their system.

I used the Snapnrack configuration tool to obtain the BOM, gave it to Gexpro for a quote. Local Gexpro store = free delivery!.

The only thing I added was more mounts to attach the rails to the corrugated metal roof (hurricanes).
(So there are more parts & costs for the added brackets, not shown on these examples.)

Two recent (mild) hurricanes passed through & had no effect on the PV mounting!

Mounts are for 16 - LG 425 watt panels.

Wow!
12 clamps on each panel would also mean 6 rails under each panel.

Adding a tilt increases cost and hurricane wind force on the panels.

You'd save a ton of money and potential damage by going with flat to the roof mounts.
You'll loose some output, but that can be made up by adding some extra panels.

My quick looks reveals what I'm sure you've already seen which is that you have way more rails due to clamping requirements of your high wind area plus the above items that I don't have due to our mounting differences.

I assume you've already looked at a ballasted system?

Yes I did looked at the ballasted system, but I am not sure they can hold during a hurricane...

Another difference on my design from yours, is that I had 2 separated strings. I will try all of them together and see...

Put it flat down on the roof and see what the calculator comes up with?

Right now, because of the extra rails and clamping, you have enough racking for 42 panels if you could use the standard 2 rails.
