Is my pre-charge resistor safe enough?

Hello all!

I’m planning on hooking up a Victron 2kw inverter to some new lithium batteries (“12v” setup) and want to avoid the spark. The closest suitable resistor I could find locally to me was a 5.1 ohm 10w resistor. I looked around this forum and did the Ohms math, and it looks like I’ll pull approx 36watts (battery @ 13.5v) off the get go (a much higher wattage than the rating of the resistor), but I understand this is for a very short period of time. Given the short time frame, I think I’m still ok to proceed with this resistor as it barely has time to heat up before the capacitors are happy. Is this correct?

Alternatively, use a chargeverter, and power it up before the batteries are connected.
Alternatively, during the day, wait for your SCCs to charge the capacitors before connecting the batteries
(probably not applicable to AIOs).
