Had a cinder block generator shed built once for a particularly noisy Chinese gen set that powered a mining camp that I lived at for a year. Didn't help much with noise since we had no source of sound absorbing material on site and all the noise went up through the tin roof and still bothered us.

But it wouldn't burn!
