Seeking suggestions for Better Controller (hat in hand)

Hey Guys,

Man i've looked high and low and just am not finding a lot of choices - so here I am (hat in hand) grateful for anybody's help.

I have a Van setup:

- single 35v 9a panel
- mppt no name fanless 400w controller
- 48v 50ah battery

I plan on adding two more panels (that I have already) - now here's the curve ball - pleeeease just humor me. I want to keep the panels in parallel. I want to point one panel east, one south and one west. This way i don't have to keep going out and moving all the panels around. I'm happy with whatever i can get from one panel at a time (very happy) - just looking to grow my micro setup lol.

Problem is - I can't find very many charge controllers that will do what my current one does with a higher watt rating.

Can anybody suggest a controller that will work with 35v panels and a 48v battery - my setup is perfect as is - I just want to stop doing the 2x daily panel dance if possible.

So that is similar to wanting to use 35* water to make 48* water. It ain’t happening unless you use a transformer.

Maybe get a couple panels for each direction that placed in series will be significantly more volts than your 48V battery?

You want a step up in voltage.

Instead, how about finding panels high enough to charge a 48V battery? If you can fit it!
