If the people who love EVs would just enjoy their world and let others enjoy theirs, there would be a higher likelihood of EVs progressing IF EVs are the answer. The simple fact that ANYONE is talking about "making it happen" is the problem.

The Chinese are not forced to buy cars. They can get an EV quickly or they can wait a year to get a gas car. I don't like their form of government either but their EV production is significant, globally.

Airbags, skid control systems, air conditioning, heating, crash-worthiness etc, all cost lots of money.

It doesn’t matter what they make you would complain it didn’t meet your needs and they lose 3 billion more then you complain the government is bailing them out.

I am not demanding anything. I am only mentioning why I (and many others) have not yet bought an EV. I can afford whatever I want. There isn't anything on the market that I want.

There are compact, sedans, trucks, SUV and every other kinds of EV but you can’t find one.
