Thanks.Clean install Mark. What brand racking?
Triangulation is a beautiful thingLook at how much fatter single pole mount has to be for torsional strength, vs. triangles of 4-legged mount.
Thanks, I'll check it out. I did not know Ian was selling a tilt mount. The mounts are from "https://watts247.com/". I did the labor.
They are adjustable. Not sure I will adjust for the season.
The photo was taken very late in the day, not during collection hours.
Look at how much easier it easy to mow around a pole than a 4 legged mount. View attachment 186267
I may have to rethink about getting goats to mow the grass…
LOL
Boy, did that ever trigger me
I can assure you that goat prepared either way is just as tasty.I often drive by a sign for Goat Soup at a Mennonite farm stand
They're verifying the rack is up to code.

Or they're using it to get at some higher-up treats..
Nice! I've got 6 of those panels and two more on the way... I may do something sort of like what you've done here! The starting point for me --- two 550w Renogy panels (which aren't mounted down yet). I've got two more of the Renogy panels on order and should arrive in a few weeks. I'm likely going to put some of those white stones underneath

Honestly, I have no clue what I'm doing nor what I've built ---- definitely no carpenter (work in the IT field). If I can do this, anyone can. The mounting poles have concrete and they are about 3 feet down. The only thing I'm grappling with right now (OCD kicking in) is whether or not I got that angle / slant right. I guess I'll find out once I start populating that rock, eh?Nice! I've got 6 of those panels and two more on the way... I may do something sort of like what you've done here!
Right now that are just propped up in the back yard...probably won't do any work til spring...
mind sharing your setup in terms of the solar, mppt and such? I started out this journey with the Ecoflow Delta Pro but am starting to re-think my strategy and just build out my battery system and such. Thanks!Nice!
