SRNE 20KW parallel ASP journey.

well if it's hex it should be switching to D pretty soon

wait where do you get 43 from?
The converter I linked but I just realized that's wrong since I converted text to hex...

If the oldest unit switches from C to D, and the second oldest starts with A.
I will assume that it's just a simple letter replacement.
A = 10
B = 11
C = 12
and so on

Sorry, didn't mean to side track the thread.

Edit: Corrected

Drink some scotch, it will ease the pain...
Lol I wish I had some bourbon for my coffee after this opportunistic morning at work.

No worries, I like problem solving.

Perhaps you have accumulators for Charge and Discharge of the battery? So C and D? I dont know why anyone would display hexadecimal for an accumulated value.

This is accumulated solar production, only.
I believe that it's just a simple letter replacement, due to the 4 decimal place display available. So that the counter can continue above 10k.

C (or 0x0C) in hex is 12 decimal. The "Ascii" or "Letter" C (capital C) is 43 decimal
yea was wondering what they were talking about
also the decimal form of C isn't even relevant if the entire block is hex. C969 = 51561
hex does not translate into decimal. It translates into binary and then that needs to be converted into decimal.
9 in hex is not 9

It's been around 15 years since I've dealt with hex, binary, etc. You're making my brain hurt
🤣
Oops, I did the same thing.
try a good converter

After C969 he should get C96A and then C96B etc

after C96F (51567) the next number is 51568 which is C970

now I would guess the booklet hopefully tells you wtf they are doing but since it's chinese we have no idea how they are counting or if it makes any sense

I thought this was that other thread, I don't even know what we're problem solving here. I just saw you guys hex and started crying so had to post
This is for some random inverter?

The hex conversion talk is about Tim's Growatts starting in this post. I don't have enough through my ASPs or ASF to know what happens when display runs out of room.

Oh I thought I missed something but that was it lol ok. Yea I figured it originated at some big post with like which type of inverter etc
It is odd it just doesn't do MW
it's a 4 character maximum?
1 - 999watt
1.0 - 999 KW
1.0 - 999 MW
🤔

I don't think my inverter even saves anything as far as how much has gone through it

I generally don't bother to respond or even read Timselectric . I will point out that in the manuals it states it is 2 phase. His failure to see the theory behind this stuff is why I have him on ignore.
very manly

Sadly no, and Google couldn't find the answer either.
I'll have it figured out soon. Now that I have decided that I want to know.

put a webcam on the screen and stream it, I must know.. I must
First time I've topped 1MWh in a single month. Kicking myself for not resetting my shunt when I commissioned the ASPs to help get a better idea on efficiency.

just reset them both right now, no?

Thanks, I'll have reference when I set mine.

I went with the out of the box idea for mounting. Need a breaker panel to backfeed and have been working on battery bank. Might have array up first though as mornings/evenings have been cooler, less rain and bugs.
