You mean the XW right? Not unhappy is the phrase I used. The XW lives up to it's reputation. Never seen it flinch, the batteries will beep for mercy first.

I just find the product line unenthused right now. Schneider is maintaining it, and I am happy for that, it would be a tragedy if it got discontinued, but it just doesn't feel like an active project.

For example: Try to find the MPPT 100 600 firmware. It's a treasure hunt. It got lost on some hallway of the Schneider website, and forgotten there during a remodel. Probably someone on the forum here still knows how to find it, but nobody at Schneider cares.

It's a good option but you go down that road before you know it you're just another one of them.


They all seem pretty happy though.

I like the Venus os. In reality it's more likely I pick up another 2 or 4 sunny islands as backups when they show up on ebay for a good price
