BMS short cycling the contactor

I set up a Qucc bms. 16s bank 280ah. I got it all set up and was experimenting with the high voltage cutoff. I found that if a cell is marginally on the cut out voltage the bms short cycles the contactor. Perhaps balancing adds to the issue. Is there some setting that can prevent this? Longer delay? The Xiaoxiang app has "trigger value", "release value", and delay. Release value seems to be what causes the contactor to fire. I don't know what trigger value does. What do people usually use for delay? Default is 2 seconds.

trigger should be what opens the contactor (3.7?).
release should be what closes the contactor (3.5?).

Lower the release until the contactor behaves as desired.

I'd leave the time alone.
