The menagerie foreign of foreign battery suppliers (if I calculated correctly) can deliver a 100 - 280 AH LiFePO4 battery (sans controller or other needed parts) for between $1.90's to $2.25 per amp hour, all day long. Does this sound about right?

12v battery? or do you mean 3.2v cell?
Yes, sorry - a delivered price for the cells for a 12V battery of whatever LifePo4 cell configuration that gets you between about 100 - 280 amp hours.

@Ampster - Thanks - I'm still unfamiliar with kwh as it relates to buying/configuring solar - but I'll get there. ;-)

No worries. I buy my electricity by the kWhr and I translate everything into kWrs. That is how I track what I use and how much battery i needed to purchase recently to lessen my dependence on the grid.
