Hi.
Reading the forum for some months now and i learn a lot. Now its my turn to ask if those batteries i bought as you can se on the photos are genuice or i get into the trap of being scammed.
Fisrt those batteries according to the seller www.lifepo.de in germany are EV grade A+ with guaranty , with test reports.
They came with voltage 3.50 and the internal resistance is fluctuating. I haven't done any capacity test yet. The qr code is not giving me a link to see the details.
Because nobody is trusted today , i remove the black cover and i didnt found any scratches or new qr code. Everything looks fine to me.
How they look to you guys those cells ,genuine or fake. Your opinion please.

Thanks in advance.

I like the shipping shims you have under those terminals. Your cells have similar production dates as mine, but mine were bare.
I said something to Sun Fun Kits when I ordered, but he didn't want to tell the packers how to do their job. So far my top row looks good.

Scan of your cell;

Anybody find a non conductive 35mm spanner wrench to hold the terminal while torquing the lug bolts? Or just a better idea to prevent twisting on the welded connection.

Those are real you got good cells.
Hi there.
Im always reading and following your posts and replies to any question that people have.
I know you have good knowelegjes in lifepo4 batteries, the hidden secrets that scammers try to fool people.
May i ask from which point did you get to the conclusion that those are good cells? Some cells are a little bit swelling 1,2 mm. Are those fine?

Thanks i advance.

New update of my cells, internal resistance 00. 15 MΩ and the 8 cell pack internal resistance is around 00.087 MΩ .Capacity test for one cell is 285Ah and not bellow 2.84volts.

You have cell values from quality tests such as the R1, R2, R3 and OCV1 / 2 / 3

These are not something the scammer have, the only thing you are missing is the pallet ID / case Id I think if you ask the seller they can give it to you.

Here is an example of all the details that are on a genuine test report:

Here is an example of a digital spread sheet from another grade A seller:

So you can see the manufacturer of the cell providers companies with these verification / test reports so they can be assured the cells are of good and stable quality. If they don't have this the manufacture does not want to stand behind the quality of them and marks them with a B or other things to deface the QR code.

These are grade B cells and small time sellers on Alibaba buy them form auctioneers and reseller them on alibaba/amazon/ebay. They don't have the above reports so all they can do is sandoff/relaser the qr code and try to trick people.

Any seller that is real grade A cells will happily give you test report, the ones that don't always have excuses.

It has been this way for many years.

Also the only companies that can sell grade A at a reasonable price are the ones that can afford to buy 3000-4000 cells at a time on a container it is not something you can start doing if you are buying a few hundred cells at a time as most likely they are buying grade B from another reseller on alibaba.

That’s a great idea

I just wondering , scammers can t make fake test reports. Its just a piece of paper with numbers, its so difficult.

If they do then the have a fake paper trail now the lie has become a fraud and if you email some one like Dorris Liu Doris.Liu[atsymbol]evebattery.com from eve she can verify if the report is fake or real.

I think the scammer knows this and will probably back off at that point and instead start telling you to 'trust me bro, these are good cells'...?
