What's in a title?
I don't either unless he is implying 3 of the new 6000ex's in parallel.I don't think they make an 18kw inverter
I think we need @timselectric to help here.

Thanks for the info!Guys, this case is from a warehouse move this week, we are adjusting on SKUs that were crimping for a few days.
Type OI don't think they make an 18kw inverter
You've read others experience here. Do with that info as you see fit.

Good to have this confirmed. I was pretty sure this was the case, and it's starting to look like I'll be looking elsewhere.Best to check your facts before posting incorrect information. According to the state of Texas, both companies are lead by one person. James Showalter.
I guess you didn't see the pictures I posted showing that James owns both companies and I don't have a problem with that. I do, however, have a problem with him coming into this forum and baiting people into buying the next latest and greatest EG4 inverter, battery, charger etc. as they're getting ready to release them to the public. Those aren't the actions of a man that's separated himself from his spin-off company but they are the actions of a salesman and representative from said company. I don't care what people have told you. It's the public filings that tell the true story. What a strange way to talk to me. I was at re+ and EG4 has a different CEO (happened recently) and has its own building now. Do you think I would make something up? ? James is not in the same role he was previously. You can drive down there and find out for yourself.
I am a distributor... other distributors get early access to this info as well...I guess you didn't see the pictures I posted showing that James owns both companies and I don't have a problem with that. That doesn't help in the eg4 6500ex 48 inverter sundowning ( no longer making) of these units!!!Other companies are going to be selling EG4 products soon. So you won't need to go through signature solar any longer. Just a heads up. They are two separate companies now with different leadership.
Hi @bryg63 I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. We do very much acknowledge the issues that came with these units, and we are committed to provide every bit of support to take care of our customers having these problems. If you'd like to reach out to me directly at engagement@signaturesolar.com, I'd love to see what we can do to help!I'm in the same boat- my 6000ex died after 10 months. After reading all these complaints and the struggles of dealing with SS I just went and purchased a 6000xp from a local supplier who I've had zero issues with- and am now much happier. SS definitely tries to put the blame on you and not accept their initial units were pure junk. The XP is night and day difference. I was hoping for any resolution, even a 100$ store credit would have made me happy lol, but no... My advice- unless you live in close proximity to the company, stay the hell away from them.
You know, Jessica I give you respect! If only your technical group was on top of their game as you are with PR! Thank you for your attempts!Hi @bryg63 I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. They are slow but get it handled. I’m just glad I didn’t kill all my batteries and just two, I would have been screwed! An Update - posting of the failure has seemed to sped up the service! I'm now in the process of returning the failed unit. Progress is progress... I'm actually just happy the wheels are turning!
