Just looking for some opinions.
I ordered a lifepo4 battery from a local Canadian company. (I try to shop local, support mom and pop, etc when possible).
battery was “in stock” when I ordered. Website indicates it could take 4-5. days to ship.
after a week I didn’t receive any confirmation / shipping emails so I enquired “where’s my stuff”.
they replied ”oops our bad , miscalculation on our part. Battery is back ordered, should be 2 weeks”.
a week later I emailed for an update and was told “should have within a week”.
I noticed that they sell solar kits (that are in stock) that include my battery I purchased. I emailed today asking for an update and suggested they could ship me a battery from the kit, and then replenish when they receive the battery shipment.
just wondering what you’d all consider reasonable.
I ordered, and was charged accordingly for a product I was told was in stock.
I understand things happen, mistakes are made, supply chains, etc.
the battery is currently in stock in the us and ready for purchase. My concern is things fall through with the Canadian company, and in the mean time the us seller sells out, is again on back order.
basically I want what I paid for, don’t want to be a “karen” about it, but allow for “stuff happens”, but not wanting to get screwed in the end, lol.
what’s a reasonable expectation before I cancel the order?
