Just Place new Order on Alibaba- 280AH x 8 for 1260.00 USD Delivered, Grade A to Canada

So is everyone still going with these cells even with the red flags with EVE?
I didn't buy them because someone said they were EVE cells. I bought them because some members here bought them from XUBA and received Grade A quality cells that tested true to their AH rating. I bought them because we found a person at XUBA that was responsive to improve how they were shipped, IE every cell wrapped and then double boxed. A person who provided pictures and video with each of ours names clear in all the pictures.

As this was my first venture in ordering direct from China, Amy, the face of XUBA to us, has taken steps to reduce my concerns in making the big step easier and reduced some of the fears of buying them directly, and the support our members here gave when doing this. Members who helped walk me through the process with how and what to say.

If they are EVE cells great, if not I still received what I ordered. 4 280AH aluminum cased prismatic cells. My only regret is not ordering 8 cells at the time. But before I jumped in on this deal, I was going to go with the 100AH Fortune cells and at most end up with two 100AH 12V batteries.
Do I wish these had the bigger studs and the caps that Fortune has, yes, but not enough to pay the extra to have the same AH as these.

I spent way too much time reading through this whole thread.
Great stuff to cut my teeth and make my first order through Alibaba.
Thank you all for the education!
Now, after saying that, I'm not going to follow one of the prime recommendations found here. I found that Shenzhen UNIS has a better price including shipping than Xuba.
I asked Leon about all the information. He didn't shy away from the fact that he is selling Grade B batteries that are new. After looking into grades, this doesn't mean that they will not perform like a Grade A.
The interesting part is that when I asked if they test before shipping, they sent me a specification for the EVE batteries and assured me that they will meet this spec.
Four 280Ah cells for $435 delivered. This even includes the Credit Card fee.

Please let us know how they test for capacity.

Do you have a link to where you purchased?

Is this shipped to Canada, Ontario

Mine just arrived in Montreal on Monday night. So 60 days. ?

The destination is Florida.

I'm a Test Engineer, so I have some pretty good equipment. It's not specific to battery capacity testing, but I should be able to adapt. Automating the time factor is going to be the tricky part.

I just recieved my order of 8 cells from Zuba. They came in two boxes that looked undamaged. One box had 4 perfect cells. The other box, had 4 cells, every one of which is damaged. I inspected the shipping boxes and there is no apparent damage or evidence of abuse. All 8 cells were very well packaged. To me, it looks like the cells were dropped as every one has corner damage, which is not easy to do with the double boxed shipping setup. I am working with Amy to rectify this situation. I cannot tell if the cells are internally damaged but am reluctant to use them in their current state.
I had one arrived damaged out of the 16 I ordered. Appears to be no damaged to the packaging as well and it was packaged well, double boxed and wrapped tight. The entire corner is crushed in and has a bulge. Sent Amy a message to see how to proceed on getting it replaced. The 15 others are all pretty perfect.

Dang! I wonder how these cells become damaged in transit? I’m hoping so hard that I don’t receive any damaged cells!

After looking further, I can see damage on the outside box in the same corner the battery was sitting in, and I took out the internal, 2nd box it was in, and the same corner of that box is damaged right where the battery was sitting.

The BMS's I have gotten are the following. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000425316662.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.15004c4d8Vun6O.

They are the same units as sold on Bigbattery.com that Will is raving about but better priced, 120 amp instead of 100 amp, in stock and directly from China. Have tested now for 3 days and they work perfectly including low temp cutoff. Bluetooth app on phone rocks also.

Pulling up an old one @mndare I've seen this one and was wondering if you or anyone else knows if Will's 'enterprise iPhone' version of the app works on this one as well? Did you use an Android phone? We all know those work...

Makes much more sense now.

Thanks for the follow up!

Are all the damaged ones coming by the Slow Boat from China?
Mine came ‘slow boat from China’ without a nick or scratch on them. :)

4 batteries are 40+ pounds. They are double boxed, and wrapped in foam...but, it is a fairly heavy package...that I suspect would still see damage if tossed around...

There is a whole big thread on that BMS. OverKillSolar in that thread is the seller of them on Amazon.
I got him to join the forums.. This is the last page of it, probably should go back at least 10-20 pages for more info....

My set was sent via sea shippimg.

Please keep us posted on how this gets resolved.

Amy told me that they’re now only shipping 2 batteries per box, in hopes that the less weight and extra padding will prohibit any damages.

To be honest, they shouldn't have to do that.

What do you mean? I assume the damage is because the packages get tossed around without consideration of the contents on the long journey across the sea.
