My new battery is on the way. In 2020 I asked Amy if she could have a battery built and shipped to me as there are very few resources where I live in Nicaragua to build my own. She had a 48v 10KW battery split into two 80lb cases for ease of movement with all test results of the cells for $1800 delivered to Miami. No other company was offering anything near that price then. She had never sold a prebuilt battery before and I'm happy to see she now has several options.
That big house is gone and I have a simpler, more minimal life planned. Last month I asked her for a basic, prebuilt 24V 105AH battery which will be here soon. As before, she sent all test results for the 8 Grade A EVE cells, a JK 150A balancing BMS for $550 to Miami, comparing more than favorably to the $250 12V 100AH buy and pray listings on Amazon and eBay, especially with no way to return a defective battery for warranty from here.
It was once again a pleasure to chat with her and I wish her and her company the best. There will be more builds for other coming projects later. I have photos of test results of all 8 cells, one included here.
