So far no errors on either unit so I'm super happy about that. It's frustrating that they mandated all water to be under 109 for all home care under cms. I was looking into some kind of valve system where I could raise the temp to safer levels but it would mix the c/h to 109.Going way back to water heater heater temp settings. The reason for the higher recommendation is because Legionella bacteria reproduce in moist area between 100-125 F. So if you have the water temp in the tank set in that range you can grow legionella.
How are the new water heaters doing? You haven't mentioned them in a while so I'm guessing they're behaving.
I was thinking of giving this one a try.I'm pretty sure they have mixers that will do that for hot water. I have something vaguely similar for the floor heat in my shop, but that's a lot simpler as it's a fairly constant flow rate.
I have the 500A shunt too, the designer wasn't thinking about the size of cable lugs needed.Batrium sent my order from 3 months ago but without my rma core in the package. I had emailed them when about eta on that a while back but no reply. I have a 500amp shunt but I recommend the 1000 amps just for ease of attaching the cables.
When my 1000amp failed and I had to switch over the the spare 500 I realized I should of stuck with the larger one. It really is much easier to work with.I have the 500A shunt too, the designer wasn't thinking about the size of cable lugs needed.
