Sunfunkits show their true color

So, rather than take your results and improve their product they decide to attack you. I will never buy from that company because if he does this to you, what about an end user that has a complaint. They would have been better off just accepting the results, contacted you and thanked you. And tell you they are going to try harder and to ask you to tell your viewers. I'm sure you probably wouldn't have had a problem relaying that to your viewers. But as it stands and as you said in your title. They showed their true colors.

I think a lot of reviewers buy the stuff with their own money for just this reason (not something many can do though.) I think Wil had mentioned in a video how he got the same kind of treatment from vendors. If not I know I saw some reviewer that got the same treatment from companies.

You my friend are but one of many targetted by SFK who was promptly ejected from here by Will. He threatened and harassed vendors & suppliers, even manufacturers such as EVE in China.

The concept of 3D additive printed casas is. Cool and has appeal,.. everything else sucks.

Steve.

Mental list:

Sun Fun-Never buy
Big Battery-Never buy
Enphase-Never buy-silly warranty terms
Signature Solar-lame but entertaining….and probably, maybe, never buy. But maybe.
Amy(s)/Docan-Maybe. Depends on stock. B grade. Depends on US warehouse. 90% chance it’s ok.
Currentconnected.com-Strong buy.
Arizona Wind and Solar-75 percent good
Santan Solar-90 percent good. Some shipping issues.
Alt E-?

I don't know if anyone else has dealt with them but I got my Outback Radian from Stella Volta and their pricing and shipping was good, I have no complaints. I also have had no need to contact them after purchase for anything yet either, so I can't say much about after sales support.

Great list. It should be pinned :p Alt-E the E stands for Expensive.
when i was doing all my shopping, it seems ALTE had the best deals for what I wanted. their customer support was surprisingly great. Not that I was expecting bad, I just had no expectations at all since im so new to all this, and i was pleasantly surprised.

I really need to go back through all of my issues with these guys. Not terrible but definitely have significant room for improvement, 75% might be about right.
I was prepared to buy everything through them. They didn’t seem to enthused about helping me design a system, so I’m like…ok then, I’ll go with lowest price.

I don’t mind paying up for good service and after sales support …especially on things like this. But when it’s six one way, half a dozen the other…

A couple of comments on this list from @Bluedog225:
  1. I was happy with my experience with Docan, although I agree the cells are B grade. I am only aware of one Amy (Amy Zheng, I think) at Docan though, so I'm wondering if the other Amy you are thinking of is Amy Wan at Luyuan, who I think should also be on the list and I'm more certain that she sells grade A cells (or at least I felt sure when I bought from her in 2021).
  2. I've only had some hands-off purchases from NAWS (Arizona Wind and Solar) recently, but back a few years ago I thought they were really excellent. They had knowledgeable techs who seemed very interested in helping.
Edit to add: I'm also a fan of @RayfromTX and feel terrible that he is getting this treatment from a vendor. Stinks.

I was more refurring to what they sell. They tend to sell higher priced stuff vs the chinese inverters and batteries. I will probably order some panels from them as they are only a few miles from my house so I can save on shipping.

I’m above 95% after multiple purchases from Northern Arizona Wind and Solar.
